Cool to be part of this.

My essay looks good, as do a number of others.
TAROT AT RUC: A DIPLOMATIC ENCOUNTER
April, 14, 2015, 10.30-14.00. Roskilde University Library hosts a 4-hour lecture and workshop on the Tarot for a group of 13 diplomats in Copenhagen representing 13 countries. The event features an introduction to the collection of Tarot cards and esoterica by legendary historian and collector, K. Frank Jensen, who has generously donated his entire collection to Roskilde University. This introduction is followed by a lecture on the history and cultural significance of the tarot, and lunch, courtesy of the Romanian Embassy.
See a text following up on the event, TAROT FOR DIPLOMATS, and some cool pics.
A rather nice interview by Marjorie Jensen for the upcoming anthology of Tarot Poetry. Enjoy!
The book is forthcoming in ca. July 2015.
It features a number of exciting poets and writers who also happen to be tarot practitioners.
Marseille for Modern Readers – Part II is here. This is an international class based on a webinar series of five lectures and workshop style teaching on how to read with the Marseille cards. The first one was a success. Come and join us in the second part, starting February 24, 2015.
This is my new book on the Marseille Tarot, prompted by the rare and unseen images of Carolus Zoya. Check a sample preview at the link above.
200 pages filled with marvellous color images and a solid method on how to read with the Marseille cards. Enjoy.
Join us in this 5-series course – October 2014
FOLK MAGIC AND READING CARDS
Not something I do every day, say yes to being interviewed for podcasts, but this one I couldn’t resist. Thank you, to Andrew Kyle McGregor for making it fun and easy, and to Ryan Edward for requesting it.
Here’s a link to the podcast Folk Magic and Card Reading. Enjoy!
For EyeCorner Press, I’ve published Todd Landman’s edited collection of essays on magic. I also have a contribution, ‘The Arts of the Night, which, so far, has been very popular with the readers. Here’s the editorial description of this wonderful treat:
“This collection of essays has been written by magicians who really care about magic. Having discovered magic at a young age, they have allowed it to mature alongside their intellectual and practical formation. They contemplate different dimensions of magic and how they relate to it. Their stories and reflections reveal remarkable similarities in the themes that they address: Magic as power. Magic as escape. Magic as protection. Magic as play. Magic as medium. Magic as unknowable. Magic as symbol. Magic as language. Magic as incomplete. The book will touch anyone who has imagined a magical world and who has a sense of wonder, either as a child or as an adult. Broad in its approach, specific in its intent, ‘The Magiculum’ offers much to contemplate.”
The book also offers quite an array of insights into the cards, so it has a broad appeal. It’s full of surprises, wisdom, and fixtures. Check the table of contents here.
Available from all amazon channels. Here’s the US link. Enjoy!
I had the privilege of having the icon I designed for Taroflexions turned into a hand hammered pendant. The result is beautiful and magical.
A grand thanks to Aidan Watcher, at Tveir Hrafnar, for his talismanic jewellery.
Aidan mostly works on commission. I cannot recommend him warmly enough.
You want a splash of really ‘keep it simple’? Then migrate for some cartomantic one-liners on my tumblr page, the Card Cuts. Enjoy!

A HELIUM POET – A LENORMAND DECK MADE FOR FUN IN ABOUT 45 MINUTES.
Have a look at my newly created Lenormand deck called A Helium Poet. Read about its creation here or check it out at the Taroflexions Shop. I made this deck for fun in some 45 minutes, the old-fashioned way with pen and ink on paper.
Check out the newly created Facebook page for Taroflexions here.
I’ll be posting on FB small practicing spreads, and people are welcome to interact. People are also welcome to post their own examples. Depending on the time I have on my hands, I’ll reply in a tutorial-like manner. Welcome and Enjoy!
